Dear QS: LaGuardia, Newark, and Kennedy airports are closed. The 2 northern counties in NJ have been declared a disaster by the governor (because of the 25" of snow). Although the plows are out in the NJ/NY/CT zone (covered by WCBS, news radio 88), temperatures are going to plummet and icy conditions are going to make already difficult driving, "Trecherous."

Here's the best place to keep an eye on the weather in the area you want to visit:

newsradio88.com

When I drive back and forth between New England and Philadelphia, this is the radio station I listen to (AM 88) since they give traffic and weather every 10 minutes on the 8. Here's the traffic page from their web site:

cbsnewyork.com

I suggest you check WCBS's site frequently because they are real good about updating the traffic and weather sections.

If/when you can get out, it should at least be beautiful.

Regards,

Lynn
