Hows it going Steve? Any thought if you want to get back into NVLS calls? We sure ended 2000 with a wimper, although we are doing better than the ca. $30 we were 2 weeks ago. The Feb 35's would have bagged you about 50% or better between then and now. Gotta love that volatility.

So where do we go from here? Are we going to see cancelations on push-outs resulting in another down year for NVLS, or will the chip makers step up to the plate and invest in copper and Novellus's other stuff? And if they do, will it be in a big way or just enough to keep us in a narrow range this year? I myself think that they are well positioned, and even if others in the sector may not do so well, at least Novellus will be selling enough to generate some cash and continue to develop new equip and maybe even gain some market share.

Also, do they not still have a good wad of cash around, even after the Gasonics aquisition?
