It's bad news for all of us.
Yes it does seem that WCDMA is going to win the war and that is the way the majority of carriers will be going.
The rejection of 1X by Cingular was not expected and out went a chance for upside earnings surprise.
The question is how hard to we get hit on Tuesday??
