There is only so much PR can do. The post suggesting after the press conference stockholders could sit back and enjoy the ride was at best naive. Without slandering the motives of the poster, the press conference was in conection with the mining show in NY. Which company didn't announce something? On the scale of things, the ILP press release was not news.
The other factor is Congo-Kinshasa. The easy part of the politics is over. Now comes the hard part of removing a kleptocracy from the roots. The head is gone, even if Kabila was a visionary, reform will create resistance. The junior mining sector is not going to see many runaway trains for a while, unless it sees another Diamond Fields. And ILP just doesn't have that kind of news.

I have no short position, and have a very small holding that I am still well ahead of the game on, but I bought to hold.
