Watch out bears

I have been a big bear almost the entire time I have posted on MDD. But when looking back at 1975, 1938, 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933 there has been a decent January effect when the markets have seen strong year long selling right through the December month end. I am ready like most to short sometime in the new year, but look out for a strong bounce---maybe only a week, two weeks etc. But a bounce is very proven historically. Look for yourselves. I see 1980 on the NASDAQ in the Spring, but would not be short here.
