I may have misread Mr. X's post, where he said that he had covered at 9 and then put the shorts back out on this latest runup following the Buffett news. I thought that X meant Pinky had gone short again. Upon re-reading Mr. X's post just now, I see that I may have misinterpreted it, and it was just X himself going short again.

But there was Mr. X asking Pinky to advise him when to cover his new short position, so the basic thrust of my message to him still holds. X is betting against Buffett, thinking that Pinky knows best.

To each his own.
