I see what you are saying about the oil prices but the Airlines and Railroads were lower when oil was 10-13 bucks a barrel and are now much higher. I don't see an end to oil over 20 since we have a oil friendly administration coming into office and OPEC has finally regained control of the market. I expect some exploration to ramp up here again over the next few years and prices to stabilize. OPEC is already talking about cutting production ahead of the expected recession. They aren't dumb, they got caught behind the power curve following the Asian Contagion and aren't about to allow another glut if there is a recession. They know Clinton/Gore had no energy policy and now have us by the nads with no quality reserves to fall back on. Our reserves are not "sweet" crude, are low in supply, and have been stored in abandoned salt mines for years and years. About all you can do with that stuff is tar roads. <ggg>

EDIT - I was watching CNN and the government is lying to us again. They just said that heating bills aer expected to be a bit higher this year since Natural Gas prices are up 47%. Did they forget a zero in that official document?!?!?! I think any idiot can see we are up a lot more than that. Of course the dumbed down sheeple have no idea what spot prices are for NG.
