Carolyn~ Here is a horrible bit of fluff from the former co-chair of the Democratic Party abroad, being presented as an informative analysis!! I've always believed that intelligent people should determine their beliefs and values issue by issue--with their own minds. Hey! But these days, people need to be led... Message 15102406 Now why wouldn't the poster (in a sense of being fair minded) declare the bias of an article coming from such a high ranking Democrat?? I found it amusing that democracy and freedom should have prevailed in such an ironic way: The Supreme Court denied the Gore attempts on the basis that "every vote must count; Count every vote." "YES", said the SUPREME COURT. "We agree with you Mr. Gore!" Gore tried to deny that principle; Didn't work! LOL! Common sense and logic should not be principles of the left or the right. Unfortunately, it seems that the lefts and the rights must sit on different porches. A civil war without guns? Some might find this a sad state of affairs. No less on the internet, than in real life...it breeds suspicion and polarization--and it destroys a commonality of brotherhood and sisterhood--fomenting the seeds of unconsidered contempt and opposition. Well, that is not quite fair. People of similar sentiments do need their own space, BUT... the former co-chair of the Democratic Party abroad, being lauded for an unbiased political article? Excuse me?!!
