yes, i like 4.76. as i say, the difference is primarily in security upgrades. i was running without java enabled to deal with the risks until i upgraded to 4.76. i think it's been months now that i've been running it.

i am also faced with a browser decision. i absolutely can not get used to nor can i appreciate ie's way of handling favorites. netscape is far superior in this department. their bookmarks system is great. and another thing that prevents me from migrating fully to ie is their email client.... talk about security risks! for the life of me i can't understand why the bad guys are not going after netscape's email client, messenger, the way they are attacking outlook and outlook express. but the fact remains, there are no viruses inherent to messenger.

bottom line, if you follow good upgrade practices, i see no problems moving to 4.76. i started with netscape 3.0 and have had complete success installing new versions all the way up the ladder.

netscape6.0? not for me just yet.

:)
