Michael,

<< Depending on the administrative burden (and my skill at manipulating SI) contestants may be allowed to adjust portfolios at some time in the future.>>

I think that rules from 2000 contest are OK. Allowing adjustment during year favor momentum and trading picks, in contrast to fundamental investment factor. GO UP AND STAY UP! Also, entry price should be Friday close price.

My picks (based on uncertainty for overall market in ’01) is balanced of the 16 stocks, where REGN (unknown factors) and OXGN (significantly undervalued imo) are:

REGN 20%
OXGN 10%
NBIX 5%
TTP 5%
CVAS 5%
ALKS 5%
VRTX 5%
SCIO 5%
SUPG 5%
IMGN 5%
STEM 5%
VPHM 5%
ALXN 5%
CTIC 5%
PCOP 5%
MEDX 5%

My pledge is min $500 and/or max value of 25 REGN shares.

My charity organization (not directly connected to biotech) is:
CARITAS
HRVATSKE SALEZIJANSKE PROVINCIJE
SV. IVANA BOSCA
FOND “MAMA MARGARETA”
Srebrnjak 101
10000 ZAGREB, CROATIA

This organization deals with very poor families with many children, in Croatia.

Good luck to all.

Miljenko
