100cfm - Actually I seem to recall a longish interivew/statment from T or AWE's CTO saying far worse than that.

It is downright worrying from time to time but as I posted earlier we are getting down to the wire this year as the people start to have to make the final decisions and commitments which affec the very future existence of their companies.

It isn't surprising that we on these threads don't like the language of those who don't go cdma2000.

They are probably as concerned if not as confused as us except that we have faith in the Q and they don't. They could probably care less that Q will earn from W-CDMA as much as from cdma2000.

They are only defending their comapnies positions. Look at the companies that got succkered into paying the British and German Goverenments over $70bn for something that other countries are now giving away for less than 5% of that figure. Those that did that have got a license OK but at the cost of their companies profitablility for decades and the downgrading of their creditworthiness.

No wonder people are confused. But Dr Jacobs is not confused about the technical capabilities of the two systems or of the alternatives GPRRS, EDGE etc.

I do not believe that anything that we have heard this weekend has made the Qs position any worse. With a good deal of luck on Tuesday although one might be forgiven for a little scepticism after nine months of unrelenting misery, we might get some real and sustained buying.

Best regards,

L
