that would be a special browser, now wouldn't it?

let's use real numbers and be practical for a moment. i have two chief complaints involving ie favorites.

one, there is not a 'find' function for the favorites. at least not that i can locate. if there is, please tell me where it is. the absence of such a basic feature is a big handicap.

the second chief complaint is the scrolling method and the lack of speed of said scrolling. in ie there are no scroll bars like in netscape. just the up or down arrows. in netscape i can traverse the distance from top to bottom of my bookmarks in literally less than 2 seconds. in ie the same list takes me more than 60 seconds. again, if there is a faster way of getting to the bottom of the list, i can't wait to hear it. ie is my adopted browser, i have been using netscape for years.

in the absence of rapid scroll capability, after i spend 60+ seconds getting to the bottom of the favorites list, i have to spend another 60 seconds getting back to the top. dragging favorites around under these conditions is the kind of work that most people should want to avoid.

please show me where i can improve upon those two drawbacks.
