Paul, This info is from fall of 96 and is not current. It was written prior to the development of the Presstek digital and processless PEARLgold plate, which is what many printers have waited for prior to moving to CTP. Now the thermal plate is here, look for many more vendors announcments of new imagers having the capability to image Presstek's thermal plate. Already, the list is up to at least 6 which include: Presstek PEARLsetter Gerber Linotype Hell Creo Krause Optronics Neil
