Dear Brumar89: You must be careful what you read. That story looks like a "plant" to me. Remember Michagan was a state Gore wanted badly and the labor unions twisted everyones arms. I personally dont believe it. The only thing in it with any sound of truth is that Bush doesnt yet have a policy. I suspect that is the situation. But, I would remind you, the USA supports Israel as it sees that country as a bastion or foothold for democracy in the middle east. The USA will IMHO continue to maintain that stance so long as Isreal is a Democracy. On the other hand IF a lasting peace is to happen (I consider that a big IF to begin with) there will have to be a Palestinian state. Thats just realism. Anyone who feels otherwise IMHO is just guilty of wishful thinking. Right now the Palestinians are living either within Israel or as refugees in other countries such as Jordan and Syria. Israel seems to not want them anymore, and neither do the others. So what other solution is there? However, I want to say right now before I start getting flamed by both sides, I DONT KNOW THE ANSWER and I DONT PRETEND TO KNOW THE ANSWER. JDN
