God Bless President William Jefferson Clinton! We should all be greatful for a President who, by executive order, has accomplished what the gutless Republican Congress could not - The coverage for government employees of mental health conditions to the same extent as physical conditions. Many on this thread have deplored affirmative action as discriminatory. Well, the partial coverage of mental health conditions is also discriminatory and, if you are consistent, you should deplore discrimination of this type. Once again, President Clinton has shown the way. Now, there will be increased pressure on other employers to provide the same type of coverage. President Select Bush will not change this executive order. He has read the election returns and knows he lost the popular vote by 540,000 votes. You see, the popular vote does make a difference.
