Re: "I am a fan of Buffett's investment style, so I would appreciate it if you could post the name of the book. Buffett himself stays away from companies like Intel because: a) he doesn't understand them and b) likes companies in stable businesses"

The book is:

Title: How to pick stocks like Warren Buffett
Author: Timothy Vick
ISBN: 0-07-135769-6

Regarding his investment style, I wonder if we need to start thinking of Intel as more of a value company than a growth company, although I think there is still lots of growth left. Earnings growth is stabilizing, financials are impeccable, return on equity is excellent, the PE is closer to historical levels and the insurmountable barrier to competition; the combination of financial strength, design, process and manufacturing capacity. I know this is just preaching to the choir but I wonder if value investors will start catching on at these price levels?
