People need a strong motivation before writing checks out to charities, as it should be in that not every cause is a good one. This post is directed to those who (1) feel that SI has been very good to them over the years(ie helping them make money), and (2) who have been Grandfathered into SI and do not have to pay the yearly fee. To these poeple I would pose the question can you see youself helping erect a school in SI's name for one-sixth of what you would pay on an annual basis? IMHO, that is the very least we can do to help those who need it the most.
