A bit better day yesterday.... ... what with the Ravens advancing in what was a great day for pro-football excitement in Baltimore. It's been a loooooonnnnnggg time since this city favored football, but I believe football is getting equal mind-share in this city due largely to the Dan Snyder-like behavior of the Baltimore Orioles owner. I couldnt be happier. ... with the Ravens defense really sticking it to a good offensive team. Having 3 awesome DTs will make it impossible for anyone to run without first opening up the pass plays successfully. Make no mistake, year in and year out for the last 3 years Eddie George has hated playing the Ravens. He will quit on the Titans in the 4th quarter, if not sooner. ... and I finished 2-0 in picks (w/ and w/o spreads) and 7-3 in all selections. After round one, put me down for 3-1 (w/ and w/o spread) and 12-8 overall. Dang Colts kicker really messed me up as well as a chance at a home AFC-Championship game. BTW, is anyone tracking these playoff picks... or am I back to talking to myself again?? The doctor said something about this.... OOOOPS nevermind. :) Hope everyone had a safe New Years Eve and best wishes in '01 to all (except the Titans, 'fins, and raiders). Paul
