"It seems that Lam does have customers for the 200mm Teres tool." Yes, I am quite familiar with these PRs. To the best of my knowledge, their customer is TSM. Do you know anything to the contrary? I am quite certain that as a percentage of their business, CMP is not sufficiently material (% of business) to require them to recite anything more that what is in their 10Q and 10K - essentially zip. This gives them great latitude to make broad comments with greater spin than most - much like that of AMAT, though AMAT is a gorilla whose statements have a tendency of becoming a self fulfilling prophecy. I don't have any marketshare numbers at my fingertips, but I know they are on SI, on this thread as I recall - I may have even posted them. Please excuse my disorganization, but I seem to have imbibed in too much last evening/this morning. Regardless, I am aware of SFAM's installed base and customers, while I have yet to see anything regarding LRCX besides this PR and TSM as their customer. I will add that I believe AMD, at one time, bought an R&D tool which may have matured into an order, though I couldn't not confirm this rumor. Perhaps you can?
