i see you have your hands full. please go with what gottfried and any others have for you. i want to contribute, but i am smack dab in the middle of a project here and fear that i won't be able to respond for awhile.

very briefly..... i've been told that the floppies that come with new drives should only be used to format and partition as a last resort. you might want to see if you can avoid using their floppy.

wish i had more but i must get back to the task at hand. i'll check back
