A few weeks ago there was a discussion centering around the
idea that companies holding a significant interest in a
subsidiary or otherwise ("cross-ownership") are frequent
undervalued. There seems to be a consensus that this
pricing inefficiency exists, hence becoming an appropriate
theme for the creation of a portfolio. I have attempted to
create such a portfolio based on several of the suggested
examples as follows;
siliconinvestor.com

Primary / Sub MC/MC % owned $ owned

NBSC / DGI 28 / xx 82% xxx
BTRN / SCS 102 / xx 30% xxx
CEGE / ABGX 778 / 4828 10.5% 507
CNCT / ITMN 135 / 1066 4.2% 45
STEM / Modex 52 / 180 9% 16.4
MCDE / Iconix 47 / xxx 32% xxx
RZYM / Atugen AG 220 / xxx 32% xxx
TXB / Revotar Biopharm AG 352 / xxx 55% xxx
KDUS/Axiom 9.5 / xxx ??? ???

A few notes. Both the above table and the unmanaged "Cross"
portfolio
are intended to reflect the situation on 12/31/00. I have
made no attempt to guest at the value of the non-public
entities. Any help here would be appreciated. In fact,
any and all corrections, suggestions, additions, etc. are
welcome. Apparently, CNCT has been selling ITMN shares since last
quarterly report. I will retroactively update the above
table when filings reflecting the 12/31/00 status are
available.

Happy New Year All!
