Hysterical!!! a junior Pinky for your humorous description.....doesn't make you a made man but gets you one get out of cement blocks free card.

Of course your comments are figurative. No one is implying that Mary Meeker, the Morgan Stanley internet analyst is a bona fide prostitute, but that her actions in the internet bubble are those of one whose loyalties lie to her own company's banking relationships not to the brokerage customers of the firm (particularly the poor individual investors of Dean Witter) who relied on her advice to buy such turds as VNTR at par.

One of my happiest days was sitting next to the whore (figuratively speaking, of course) at the roadshow for VNTR's secondary offering over $100 per share. I was the last person to ask a question and I managed to totally embarrass that arrogant 2 year out of Harvard Bizz School prick that ran the company and put a damper on the whole meeting. (The deal was never done)

The glare that I got from the aforementioned prostitute for my harsh but true words is somehting that I still reflect upon when I need some joy and warmth in my life.

Sadly Mary Meeker and her cohorts (Anthony Noto at Goldman Sachs, Henry Blodget at Merrill, Holly Becker at Lehman etc) got paid in full in cash and are laughing all the way to the bank. One could only wish they had been paid in the worthless securities of the companies they were peddling or hope that they believed their own Bull and bought the stock of these turds.
