The few bulls are extremely cautious--not predicting a turn-around for tech until the second half of 2001. Everyone is talking about all of the earnings warnings that are going to be dumped on us the first part of January. Practically no one expects a rally early this year. Just the kind of low expectations and fear we need for a nice counter-trend rally. Longer-term I tend to agree with you. I think we haven't seen the ultimate bottom yet. Rally first, then lower later on in the year.
