And I would expect there to be much lower gains in the "investment gains" section of the quarterly report than is currently expected.

At the time that INTC warned, the net gain for the quarter, for this area, was still not clear.

I think that they may currently be in their "quiet time" and could not update now ..

I'm expecting them to miss the lowered expectations ..
