I don't think the bear market is over or will be over in second half of the year. I think
it has just started.
Most investors still keep stocks in desperate belief that stock prices will come back. Now Wall Street analysts are trying to prepare them for waiting the second half year rally. So they will wait probably.
Only after most of them realize that it is time to sell NASDAQ could reach the bottom.
But even after bottom is reached, there won't be any "nice" rally. "Recession in profits" will
bring the fear of hard landing. The capital outflow from US stock market to EU and
Asian markets will cause further depression in stock prices.
The bear market will come to the end in 2002, and there will be some kind of rally
from 2003, though market will be quite different place at the time and which stocks
will lead the rally?.. Chinese, Russian, German - who knows - globalization is on the
way and it is the only power in the world which could start new rally in the stock
market prices.
