Yeah, and wouldn't it be super if the Republicans filed for status as an aggrieved party and included the Democratic party as a additional defendent in the case? After all, it was the Republican party platform against slavery that was opposed by Stephen Douglas and the Democrats in the election of 1860.

In fact, Douglas and the Democrats actively fought for the support of slave states in that election... thus, it would only make sense that the Democratic Party should also be named as a defendant since it was their policies that permitted slavery to continue and drive us down the road to civil war.

I wonder if we can find a few conservative lawyers willing to file for inclusion in this class action suit..
