ALPNET Announces Agreement With eQ-COM for Localization of European Fleet Management Solutions
ALPNET Netherlands bv Selected to Provide Comprehensive Multilingual Information Services

SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- ALPNET Netherlands bv, a wholly- owned subsidiary of ALPNET, Inc. (Nasdaq: AILP - news), today announced an agreement with eQ-COM bv, a European unit of US-based QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM - news), to provide localized fleet management solutions for eQ-COM's European markets. ALPNET will provide eQ-COM with a range of multilingual services, including content management system design, software localization, linguistic testing, engineering localization and documentation authoring. ALPNET will also support the localization of eQ-COM's marketing communications activities and materials. The services start immediately and will continue throughout 2001.
