I have been away for 1 week business and 1 week pleasure. Business was in Seattle. Went into North Face Retail store. Spoke with manager, who has been with the company for 16 years. Very articulate guy. I was very impressed with his grasp of the business, and the merchandising within the store. Styles, colors, variety of North Face merchandise. I have been a customer of Eastern Mountain Sports in the New Engaland area for years. This North Face store beats the heck out of EMS. Both me and my wife found many items we would buy. Store was crouded. Manager said business was good. Stricltly looking at the product and their ability to deliver this product in an attractive format, I am impressed.

As you suggested technical indicators look good, especially if the stock can "scale" the $20 peak.

With Fridays pull-back, I am tempted to buy additional shares.

My hunch is that this line has a strong appeal to the outdoor active croud and even more snob appeal to those who will never step foot into the back country.

What did I do during the second week? Backcoutry hiking in Jasper National Park, Alberta Canada. While I saw hundreds of elk and two black bears, none were wearing North Face!
