As most who frequent this board know, I usually don't post messages having to do with market indicators and stock prices. I do have an index of my own, however, that I use to gauge how things are going in my immediate surroundings on Wall Street, where I have been known to work. The MBI is my favorite indicator of all. For the unfamiliar, the Mumble and Babble Index.

The MBI usually peaks when the saloon keeper is about to go after the piano player (could this be a sign of capitulation?), after having already thrown out all the bad girls in his employ. Also during MBI peak days, the Fat Lady Who usually Sings has been known to call in sick. This morning the Fat Lady was nowhere to be found.

This morning, in fact, I saw no fewer than two people on Wall Street -and several others who were suspect - mumbling to themselves as they wandered aimlessly along sidewalks, up significantly from the usual one to two during any normal trading week.

One other disheveled individual was speaking in tongues (or, were those outcry calls he was making?) as he approached the entrance to a building. No one else seemed to notice this but me, for some reason.
