I have sort of lost rememberance of your latest buy point, but it looks like it could hit 20 today...
Hi Bob,
I hope you had a safe and happy new year.
I purchased 500 shares back on December 15 at 31.58. That was my most recent purchase. Of course, ProFunds handed me about 250 more shares by way of the end of the year distribution.
I will make a much smaller purchase today or tomorrow and continue to accumulate approximately every two weeks thereafter.
I thought UOPIX was a bargain in the 50's, 40's, and 30's, so I will refrain from insinuating a UOPIX bottom is at hand now. Obviously, no one knows where the market bottom is. All we can do now is continue to buy. I refuse to play a short position now, and get whipsawed. I will just average all the way down in the low single digits and beyond if necessary. The world relies on technology and eventually technology will rule the roost again. It may take a long time though. In the meantime, I'm going to relax and enjoy the sale for as long as it lasts.
If this keeps up. i bet we get a reverse split (or at least I hope we do)
Why? What purpose would this serve? If USPIX is any indication, I doubt they will until it is in the low single digits. They performed a 1:15 reverse split on USPIX when it reached the low single digits. I seem to recall USPIX was in the 3 range, but I could be wrong.
