Not only doesn't it make sense in terms of the Gorilla Game, but imo it's just bad investing. I called on MCOM in the late 80's, and their efforts towards building a franchise hasn't shown progress in all that time. The question would seem to be how much of his fortune Paul Allen will let them burn before he withdraws support.
