I think you are correct, and I stand corrected on that point.
As for the point about other gays being able to identify other gays I still think it can't be done. Now if someone is overtly gay, then yes, but to just look at a lineup and to do it is probably not possible.
I had a friend named Mitch. Mitch was one of these Tom Cruise dudes. Women lined up for this guy, and I didn't mind hanging around as he was only one man. To make a long story tolerable, after watching Mitch reject dozens of women I found out the truth, and that was that women were not Mitch's first choice. He also informed me that he was moving more towards the other side on a full time basis. I would have bet stacks of money against this, but they were his words. Mitch's trouble, as he explained it, was he had a very tough time finding other gays. Turns out that Mitch was not the tough guy I thought he was. Turns out those black eyes and bruises we not from bar fights over some meaningless topic or misunderstanding. Those were from approaching the wrong men.
Bottom line, W is or isn't gay, but no one here is going to know the truth until they have some proof.
