The relentless selling that is taking place here reminds me of what went on in Japan after the bubble burst there. The hesitations to ease on the part of the current Federal Reserve, reminds me of what took place under the Hoover Administration, which lengthened the suffering and preceded the Great Depression. Remember how some of the gold mining stocks performed, especially HM after 1929? Can lightening strike twice?
