A) the fine was $150, not $5 as you indicate and had to post bond of $500, b) he went to court for this, not simply paying that night as you indicate, c) he changed his drivers license to attempt to make the situation "go away", d) he was not measured as being "safe" as you indicate, otherwise he never would have been arrested and had his license suspended in the state of Maine...silly boy!
