craig: Agreed, the damage today was part of the ongoing collapse of the bubble stocks. But your interest rate cut scenario does not ring true with me. Rates went up a half dozen times before the stock market stopped rising. And now they will be cut many times before this market turns meaningfully back up -- the damage between now and then can and probably will be substantial. You just seem to be gung-ho pretty early IMO. I will keep on the lookout for days when the market might have a short burst up -- but the trend here is powerful -- and it points down. BTW, your reference to the small number of new lows is not so easy to interpret -- it suggests we have a lot of work on the downside left to do. Good luck - really, I would hate to see you buy calls that are suddenly way out of the money and stay that way.
