Surely that is tongue-in-cheek?

You don't really maintain that stock options increase productivity -- hell, they kill true investment and capital formation ... so many friggin' execs thinking how they can pimp the stock instead of run the company the best for the long haul ... borrowin sums of money to buy back bloated shares, etc.
