Remember when people used to say that "GaAs is the material of the future ... and always will be"? Now that GaAs is up and running at VTSS, ANAD, TQNT, RFMD and many other places, the "material of the future" sobriquet seems to have been transferred to SiGe. Lots of hype, lots of promise, but so far, not a single thing in production anywhere in the world, as far as I know. You may want to ask again in a month. There are rumours that there is supposed to be some new big news on SiGe coming from IBM in June. But it could be just another PR job.
