Excellent and very true post, Impristine!! About two years ago, during a question and answer session hosted by Arthur Levitt, our "upstanding" SEC Chairman for the last several years, I asked him if it wasn't a fact that Market Makers totally control the NASDAQ market through collusion and "$100" moves in whichever direction they choose to move any stock within the NASDAQ.... He got quite indignant at my remarks, and vehemently denied that my statements were true... He immediately cut me off and asked for the next person with questions... These "regulators" don't regulate anything... They are the major part of the problem!!!
