We, (my son and I) downloaded the new defs when we got the virus alert. After the download we got the alert again with both the cd packaged with, and the driver download from MSFT. Following some advise from others on this thread my son disabled McAfee, loaded the software for the mouse and all was well. That being the case we felt that this was no more than a glitch and not worth pursuing any further and did not run a scan on the driver after it loaded
