A little OT .. the SEC and Regulation FD .. Maybe it's already been said but here's a new years resolution we all can benefit from. Let's take Regulation FD and really make it FAIR. By that I mean when an analyst like Dane Lewis with Robertson Stephens downgrades software internet infrastructure companies on the "belief that information technology spending will slow" and caused the likes of CHKP to drop 23 and VRTS to drop 21 points .. it's time for a truly fair disclosure by disclosing weather or not they have a position in that sector or stock they up or downgraded, and just what it is. Gee .. that would be sweet, but like the common cold .. there's probably just too much money made from it to really find a cure. One can only hope. bventednow, Woody
