Brian, I made a great hit on June 170's, in at 13/8 and
out last Tuesday at 43/4 but then I just had to get back
in on Thursday (great timing huh?) at a cost of 4.
Pretty rude awakening for them to trade at 3/16 by 5/16
Friday morning. Wish I had averaged down by buying
another 40 con. at 1/4. When you are in a bad situation
such as this do you try and recover a predetermined
percentage of your investment or just play it by feel?
Have only been trading options for 6 months and this
looks to be my first loss. Currently down about 80% on
this trade and hoping to salvage 40-60%. Any advice is
appreciated. Steve W.
