Any bulls on here? MOO! Steady troops. Sort of nasty in here, huh. Like discussed weeks ago, we need a positive catalyst. Where, when, and what will it be? Fed in several weeks? Where is the leadership going to come from?
Bottom line, have some patience in here.
In the meantime, I'll continue to play the volatility with option positions in my ole standard ones: JDSU, SDLI, CIEN, BRCD, BEAS and EXTR. Bought JDSU calls today. Good time to put some real low offers in and make the market come to you. Amazing how they hit sometimes.
Will be looking to buy some longer term options, back to my 6 months out style, in each of these. Already been doing that with JDSU.
Really like BEAS but it took a nasty turn today. Will wait to see what it does. Likewise with EXTR. Want to see it settle down and then will re-enter. Heck, if Naz goes to 2000, EXTR may very well get in low 20's. Who would have figured that..... ugly.
Work your plan. Use discipline. Stay smart. Make it come to you. Have patience.
