That's what usually happens after stock market declines like this. How was the economy after the crash of '29? How was it in the 70's in the aftermath of '73-74? How has Japan fared after their stock market bubble popped?

See a pattern here?

I do, especially the part where the Fed or the Finance minister were SLOW to cut rates! Happened in Japan, happened in '29, happening now. Some people say Greenspan was slow to cut rates 10 years ago. We seemed to come out ok then. But this is a totally different ballgame now.

I guess I shouldn't have expected Greenspan to be any different and actually do something right for once.
