LOL, we must have been typing our gripes about the futures being up at the same time. <g> Yeah, smells fishy to me. The NDX futures aren't too bad though so maybe they can drag things down out of the gate. There should be at least a few margin calls on those. Didn't we read a few days ago some market guru telling his readers to buy tech on margin? <NG>

StockOPerator - You make good points but is the FA so bad that we crash another 50% from here in techs? Many are now trading at more realistic levels already though they can drop lower. I think the next wave of selling will be in the non techs. They are too high if we really are going into a recession. MCD chart is up against resistance, financials look bloated and many are being added to the Growth fund index. if that isn't a sign of a screaming short, I don't know what is. <g> I agree some techs still need to drop more and the heavy weights could really drag the indexes down but some of the smaller techs are getting to value status now.

Cable suppliers are one area I am looking at. They have to upgrade or Satellite will eat their lunch. Soon as rates are cut, they will get the financing. It's do or die and they need to get digital cable going or they die. They are waiting for the lower rates then they will start ordering infrastructure buildouts again. Of course, just my opinion.

I am sure there are many other sectors out there with good probabilities also.

Good Luck,

Lee
