I live in Texas. I realize that labels like Republican and Democrat are used for a lot of reasons, mostly financial, other than ideology. There is a rather wide spectrum, especially among the Democrats. That's how Junior George got his reputation for bipartanship action. He just worked with Republicans who happened to be in the Democratic party because of the county machinery where they were elected.
