SW - Great to hear from you. What historic times! Personally I say you can keep historic times! The Chinese have a curse " May you live in interesting times" I don't think G targeted he middle class although of course that happens to be right in the line of fire. I he has a rather specialized form of vision and that he sees only certain things and one of those is the Naz. He has targetted it relentlessly, doggedly since he got his chance last spring. Up to then all sorts of things interfered with his urge to hit the Naz, currency crises, financial insitition collapses and finally Y2K. I'll bet he really didn't like doing what he was advised to about Y2K! Anyway eventually in spring 2000 there was nothing in his way and he could let lose against the Naz and that is what he has done. The big question is why someone with so clear an irrational obsession was allowed to bring the economy and indeed the World economy to the brink of disaster. Best regards, L
