I suggest we start a new thread titled "WIND Lily Pond" or other, where discussion pertaining to Lily Pond's can take place.

I can accept the idea except for the fact that our experience with spin-off threads is that they seem to languish.

Actually, I like seeing informed numbers posted on this thread from time to time relative to one lily pond or another. For example, there were interesting posts on set top boxes the other day, a number debating wireless Internet handheld devices, and an informative post by James pertaining to Digital Cameras. I examine all such posts for numerical nuggets and update my Lily Pond spreadsheet. My plan is to send Peter an updated spreadsheet periodically, say once a quarter.

In lieu of starting a spin-off thread, I suggest that all such posters be sure and include the words “lily pond”, so all such references can be found by a text search. Perhaps Peter Church can highlight the lily pond site, and reference posts, when he periodically posts his famous index. Further, I would expect Peter Grossman to inform us whenever he updates the lily ponds, along with a link to the site.

I encourage everyone to contribute market research, or just observations or questions concerning any of the many identified lily ponds. This includes members of other boards, like Yahoo. All posts will be appreciated.
