Seriously, I couldn't see any reason for it except to get the Jr. Senator from NY out in front of the world with world [leaders?]. He knew there was no hope for him achieving the world peace he had hoped for with flowers in his hair, so the only reason I can think of for his meeting, is to say to Bush, "I was trying up to the last minute to solve our oil problems, and "Golly, I think I made head way we are well on our way. I leave you with very little to worry about in the Middle East or the energy problem." Just like he is leaving Bush with a wonderful economy...what do you expect from a man who doesn't know the definition of the word "is"?
