read the fine print....

recently i signed up for an e-newsletter from the company where i purchased my UPS (for those of you like me who have trouble with that acronym, it stands for Uninterruptible Power Supply) apcc.com

well, i haven't received their newsletter yet, but i've been inundated with spam from every angle and on nearly every topic. just today i put two and two together and thought to go back to their site and look up their privacy policy. and much to my chagrin, what do i find but the following statement....

"APC does allow other reputable companies to offer special services or products of value to the client."

yikes! no kidding! do they ever!

i've contacted APC and requested to be UNSUBSCRIBED immediately. for some reason, i have my doubts that the spam will stop. <g3>

i should have checked out there policy a little better when i agreed to the newsletter.

:)
