Please! I have great respect for many of your post, but I wonder why you think it is important to distort Greenspan's position. Greenspan actually prefers a tax cut if the other alternative is continued increases in government spending. In this case a tax cut would slow the increase and permit the taxpayers to spend their own money more efficiently. Why not tell the truth? Greenspan does not want a tax cut if government spending can be slowed without one. Anyone think that is possible? The proposed tax cut takes place over ten years and is massive only if one is still running for office, and wishes to influence voters against the cut.
